Free Justin Bieber!! Stop SOPA PIPA Censorship
We’ve posted about the SOPA ‘censorship’ bill before. If the bill passes, “streaming or otherwise using copyrighted music in an online video punishable by up to five years in prison.” That means all the YouTube videos Justin posted of himself singing music by other artists before he became famous would be illegal and he could be tried and sent to prison for 5 years!
Justin is an example of someone who could go to jail for singing cover songs to get famous on Youtube. Yes, Congress is out of touch.
The bill is up for vote on January 24th and while it’s important to protect copyright, it’s even more important to protect free speech and prevent censorship! Learn more about this important issue: Wikipedia, Google, FreeBieber.org
