Launching Energy Drinks, 50 Cents team up with Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga to Boost SALES for Charity!
Rapper 50 Cent just launched his charitable energy drink called “Street King.” Currently the rapper is in talks to team up with Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and usher to boost sales of his new energy drink called “STREET KING” to aid hunger relief in Africa.
50 cent is aiming to provide food for one billion kids in the impoverished continent by 2016, with profits from sales of his Street King drinks donated to the cause.
The STREET KING energy drinks which come in grape and orange mango flavours, went on sale this week (12 September 11), and 50 Cent launched the drink with a private party in his native New York on Wednesday (14 September 11).
The STREET KING had already raised enough to fund the feeding of 2.5 million needy kids in Africa and he was able to send a cheque to United Nations officials to cover the cost on Wednesday (14Sep11).
50 cents is confident he can achieve the feat of feeding more than one billion in less than half of his original five-year deadline.
He says, “It sold out, the first 4,000 shipments in stores in like, 50 states, is sold out… and I was being conservative, because of the actual pre-orders, I was actually able to feed 2.5 million today and I already have interest expressed by other a bunch of people like Usher, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Drake… so we’re looking forward to building bigger and better things.” //Source:ContactMusic.com
In response to that, Justin tweeted: “Shoutout to @50cent and his sork with streetking to feed over 2 million kids with the united nations. #makeachange – congrats.”
